Logistic Park coming up along Lucknow-Agra e-way

An MoU between the UP government and Container Corporation of India (Concor ) of the Railway ministry is to be signed soon to develop a Rs 4,500-crore logistic park along the country’s longest Agra-Lucknow Expressway.

Giving this information, UP Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) CEO Navneet Sehgal said that a proposal to this effect had been sent to the state government. After discussion with the railway ministry, the proposal has already been finalised and now a formal MoU would be signed shortly, he said.

Once developed, it would be first of its kind park in the state to be developed over a stretch of 150 acre near Firozabad, which has good rail and air connectivity. Being situated on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, it would give a huge impetus to the economic activities in 10 districts falling on the expressway, claimed Sehgal.
